I figure out what to build, and why.

I studied computer science, but the questions that stuck with me were about the person on the other end of the screen: what they need, what's in their way, and what's worth building first. That's the work I do now. I get close to users, turn what I hear into clear priorities, and stay with it until it ships.

About me

Global perspective

Born in New York, raised in Japan.

I’m Pakistani American, grew up across four countries, and speak five languages. Starting over that often made me quick to read a room and quick to adjust, and taught me that what feels obvious to one group of users can be invisible to another.

Experience

Where I've done the work

  1. Oct 2025 – Present

    Systems & Data Analyst

SHOOK Research · Boca Raton, FL

  3. May 2023 – Aug 2023

    Software Engineer Intern

    Coinpresso · Auckland, NZ (Remote)

Playground

I still build things

Python, TypeScript, SQL, Swift, AWS and AI tooling. Writing code makes me a better partner to the engineers I work with.

Claude plugin for my team

A shared Claude plugin with skills for our repeat chores, like turning due-diligence trip receipts into an expense report. Teammates get the shortcut without having to learn prompting.

Serverless KYC pipeline

Built on AWS to take a manual identity review out of a client’s onboarding: an ID upload triggers Lambda, Rekognition runs facial analysis, and results land in DynamoDB, with status notifications and an endpoint to check where a verification stands.

Automations for the busywork

An order webhook that logged 5,000+ store orders, and a weekly lunch-ordering system that hands organizers a finished order without anyone chasing replies.

Migration with a safety net

Moved team folders to SharePoint and checked every file against its source. That surfaced a silent bug where the tool deleted files it had just uploaded, caught by verifying rather than by someone missing a file months later.

Penciled

In development

An AI calendar for Apple Pencil. Research suggests writing by hand helps you remember, so you shouldn’t have to choose between paper that never syncs and a digital calendar you forget. Write it down; Penciled turns it into real events.

SnitchDog

TestFlight soon

An AI coach for your weight goal. Weigh in with a photo, check in at the gym, and if you go quiet, Snitch tells the people you respect. No money, no food logging.
